Historic 1936 Wooden Narrowboat Tug 50ft
Description
Historic Tug 50ft by 7ft wide. Built in 1936
Accomodation is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children.
Small galley area comprising traditional cast iron stove, sink and drop table with storage.
Dinette seating which forms the sleeping accomodations also. There is a inlaid table for group dining.
Shower compartment and storage opposite.

Followed by traditional engine room with storage and electrical cabinet.
Engine is a Fowler 2cylinder unit coupled to a Parsons gearbox. Gear ratio is 2:1 Engine takes fuel from a day tank mounted on bulkhead.

There is extensive storage under tug deck 400litre fuel and 400 litre water tanks. And enough room to store 1ton coal with room to spare.

Included in the sale will be some docking equipment includind tar, oakum, caulking irons and burners.
This is a wooden boat 3 inch bottom planks all in excellent condition and 2inch side planks also in very good condition.
The cabin top requires resealing and painting cabin sides need paint touching up.
This boat is fully functional and is ready to go with a litlle TLC hence low price.
